Job Summary:
The Payroll Officer is responsible for managing and processing the company’s payroll. This role ensures that all employees are paid accurately and on time, in compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures. The Payroll Officer maintains employee payroll records, calculates wages, benefits, and deductions, and handles payroll-related inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process end-to-end payroll on a weekly & monthly basis for all employees.
- Ensure compliance with statutory laws and internal policies.
- Maintain accurate employee payroll records, including leave, overtime, and deductions.
- Prepare and submit statutory filings such asgovernment reports.
- Respond to payroll inquiries from employees and management.
- Prepare payroll reports for internal use and audits.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and company payroll information.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in labor laws and payroll regulations.
- Support HR and Finance teams with employee data and analysis as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Payroll Officer or similar role.
- Solid understanding of payroll principles and employment laws.
- Strong Excel and data management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good organizational and time-management abilities.
- Discretion and confidentiality.
- Degree in Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred.
- Payroll certification is a plus.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Php18,000.00 - Php20,000.00 per month
