The Production Worker is responsible for operating machines, performing assembly tasks, and conducting quality checks. The role requires strong attention to detail, good motor skills, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor production machines and equipment according to standard operating procedures.
- Perform basic setup, calibration, and adjustments on machines to ensure efficient operation.
- Encode production data and outputs accurately into the system or log sheets.
- Perform minor repairs and routine maintenance of equipment when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area in compliance with 5S and safety standards.
- Follow production schedules and meet daily output targets.
- Report machine malfunctions, quality issues, or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
Qualifications:
- At least High School graduate, vocational, or equivalent.
- Experience in a manufacturing or production setting preferred but not required.
- Ability to operate machines, tools, and basic production equipment.
- Good visual acuity and hand-eye coordination.
- Strong motor skills and ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy.
- Basic computer skills for encoding and documentation.
- Physically fit to handle production work and capable of standing for long periods.
- Willing to work in shifting schedules, weekends, or overtime when required.
Work Environment:
- Production floor with exposure to machinery, noise, and controlled materials.
- Requires use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
