- The ideal candidate will be responsible to assists and reports to the Deputy Operations Manager, primarily responsible for the technical, engineering disciplines and compliances needed to complete a project. Moreover, he ensures that the project management processes, procedures, rules and application within International Codes and Standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conducting site investigations and feasibility studies.
- Tracking the overall status and checklist of requirements for development activities of the project/s.
- Preparing and managing the project budget, permit and licenses.
- Developing and managing the project scope and timelines.
- Producing progress reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
- Requesting and selecting proposals from subcontractors, including contract negotiations.
- Identifying potential project risks and solutions.
- Managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Creating a handover document for the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) team.
- Recommend and discuss manpower requirements / allocation subject to approval of the immediate superior.
- Perform / handle other renewable energy projects like solar and ESS as needed and upon the instruction of the immediate supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.
Abilities:
- Must have efficient time management.
- Excellent report writing, presentation and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well with people from a range of cultures.
- Ability to work independently.
- Adept in planning tools (MS Project, Primavera. P6)
Other personal characteristics – hard working , willing to learn and ready to embrace the organization’s culture.
Experience:
- Industry background and more than five (5) years’ work experience from power utilities, engineering companies, or power sector consulting companies.
- Experience with solar, wind and / or hybrid power projects.
- Experience in client interaction and capability to meet deadlines.
- Preferably with PRC License (RA 1080).
- Project Management Professional Certification is a plus.
- Skills – general knowledge in any engineering software (e.g. AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp). Proficient in MS Office application.
