About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Meta Ads Expert with deep expertise in Meta (Facebook & Instagram) Google and email advertising, as well as influencer and affiliate marketing. You’ll be responsible for developing and executing high-performing campaigns that drive growth, increase revenue, and deliver strong, measurable ROI. This is a key growth role in our small, passionate team and you’ll work closely with the management team to shape and execute the paid media strategy across platforms.
Responsibilities
- Develop, manage and execute full-funnel ad strategies across Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Google Ads (Search, Shopping, YouTube & Display) email and affiliate marketing.
- Analyze and optimize campaign performance daily to maximize ROAS and drive efficient growth.
- Build and test custom audiences and retargeting strategies aligned with customer journeys and business goals.
- Ensure ad creative and messaging are on-brand, aligned with campaign objectives, and consistent with wider marketing strategy.
- Set and track key KPIs including CTR, CPA, ROAS, and conversion rates, reporting regularly with clear insights and actionable recommendations.
- Manage and optimize ad budgets across channels to ensure strong performance without overspend.
- Experiment with ad formats (video, carousel, UGC, etc.) and placements to continually improve engagement and conversion.
- Stay updated on platform changes, policies, and new features across Meta and Google, applying insights to future campaigns.
- Collaborate with the team to guide creative direction for ad assets, landing pages, and campaign messaging.
- Communicate regularly with the management team, offering strategy updates, performance reports, and forecasting insights.
- Support SEO strategy through keyword research, on-page optimisation, and collaboration with content and web teams to drive organic visibility and traffic.
Competencies and Qualifications
Must-Have
- Proven track record managing successful paid ad campaigns (Meta + Google) in eCommerce, ideally for DTC lifestyle or baby/children's brands
- Deep understanding of data, attribution, and conversion tracking (GA4, Meta Pixel, GTM, etc.)
- Strong ability to interpret data, pivot strategies, and optimize campaigns based on performance
- Confident in building, testing, and scaling ads with a high degree of autonomy
- Fluent in key ad metrics, but equally creative and customer-focused in execution
- Experience with influencer and affiliate marketing, implementing and managing affiliate programs
- Experience with email marketing funnels, landing page strategy, and CRO
- Highly organised, proactive, and results-driven with a test-and-learn mindset
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present findings to non-technical stakeholders
- Working knowledge of SEO principles, tools (e.g., Google Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs), and techniques for improving site ranking and organic performance
Nice-to-Have
- Background in marketing for baby, children’s, or lifestyle brands, with an understanding of the tone, aesthetic, and emotional drivers of that audience
- Experience working with B Corp® or sustainability-focused brands and understanding of value-driven customer segments
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Familiarity with creative production workflows and tools (e.g., Canva, Figma, or Adobe suite)
