Crew Trainer Job Qualifications
1. Experience & Background Minimum of 1 year experience in a food service or quick-service restaurant setting Preferably 6 months to 1 year experience as a senior crew, team leader, or acting trainer
2. Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of store operations (kitchen, service, cashier, or bar as applicable) Able to demonstrate expert-level skills on all key stations Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills Skilled in giving feedback, conducting demos, and documenting performance Must be tech-savvy and knowledgeable in using: Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Canva or other basic design tools for creating training materials
3. Attitude & Work Ethic Displays leadership by example Consistent attendance, punctuality, and professionalism Willingness to mentor, guide, and support new or existing team members Demonstrates accountability, initiative, and attention to detail
4. Training & Development Orientation Passionate about developing others and upholding standards Willing to undergo Train-the-Trainer programs, evaluations, and retraining Confident in facilitating one-on-one and group training sessions
5. Education At least a Senior High School Graduate College level or graduate is a plus, especially in HRM, Tourism, or Education 6. Availability Must be flexible with shifting schedules, extended hours, and store reassignments Willing to work on weekends, holidays, or during rollouts as needed
Job Description:
1. Food Safety Orientation - Deliver engaging and informative food safety training sessions. Monitor and report pass rates of trainees.
2. Training Manuals & SOP Compliance - Leads training programs focused on the brand specific procedures, expectations.
3. Ensure Consistency Across Brand -Support multiple brand to maintain uniformity in brand representations.
4. People Development- Identify and develop employees who can champion the brand within the organization.
5. Team Collaboration & Support -Encourages teamwork by participating actively in team initiatives and fostering a positive, collaborative environment.
6. Support New Store Opening - Provides support during the launch of new stores, including staff training and ensuring alignment with brand standards.
7. Feedback Collection & Action - Gathers feedback from employees and customers to help improve training processes and customer experience.
8. Reporting and Documentation -Accurate and timely documentation of training, policy violations, and incidents.
9. Administrative Duties - Effective coordination with management and punctual scheduling of sessions.
10. CEO MANDATE -Implement training programs that meet the development benchmarks as outlined by company leadership.
