About the role
As the Retail Category Manager at Prince Retail Group of Companies', you will play a crucial role in shaping the product assortment and driving sales performance within your assigned retail categories. Based in Tipolo Mandaue City Cebu, this full-time position will see you leverage your exceptional category management skills to maximise profitability and customer satisfaction.
What you'll be doing
- Analyse market trends, customer behaviour and competitor activity to identify opportunities for category growth and development
- Collaborate with buying and merchandising teams to develop and implement effective category strategies and planograms
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible terms, pricing and availability of products
- Monitor category and product performance, making timely adjustments to inventory and product mixes
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management to support strategic decision-making
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key vendor partners
What we're looking for
- Proven track record of 2+ years' experience in a retail category management or buyer role
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills to interpret data and identify trends
- Excellent negotiation and supplier management capabilities
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to influence key stakeholders
- Degree in Retail, Business, Marketing or a related discipline
- Familiarity with the Retail & Consumer Products industry and buying processes

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php50,000.00 - Php60,000.00 per month
