Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and versatile Sales Representative with a strong background in selling paint products for marine and construction applications. This role requires experience in managing projects, distributors, modern trade, and traditional trade. The ideal candidate is skilled in forecasting, negotiation, account management, lead generation, customer evaluation, presentations, and collections, and is proficient in using sales platforms such as Salesforce, ACT, Connect, Field Force, BCI Asia, and other CRM tools. This is a field-based role that requires a valid driver’s license and strong mobility.
· Sales & Business Development:
Drive sales of marine and construction paint products across various channels including projects, distributors, modern and traditional trade. Actively generate leads through fieldwork and market research.
· Account & Project Management:
Build strong client relationships, deliver technical presentations, and oversee project timelines to ensure successful execution.
· Forecasting & Market Analysis:
Develop accurate sales forecasts and analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
· Negotiation & Collection:
Negotiate contracts and pricing while ensuring timely payment collections and managing credit risks.
· CRM & Sales Tools Utilization:
Use platforms like Salesforce, ACT, Connect, Field Force, and BCI Asia to manage customer data, track sales activities, and generate strategic insights.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in B2B, B2C sales, preferably in paint, coatings, marine, or construction materials.
- Proven experience in handling projects, distributors, modern trade, and traditional trade.
- Strong skills in lead generation, forecasting, negotiation, and customer evaluation.
- Proficiency in sales platforms (Salesforce, ACT, Connect, Field Force, BCI Asia).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently in a field-based role.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively.
- Technical knowledge of paint/coating systems and their applications.
- Background in marine, construction, or industrial sectors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
