About the Role:
The Scrum Master is a challenging role focused on how the entire delivery team functions within an Agile methodology. The Scrum Masteris responsible for overseeing and monitoring the agile/scrum practices, managing sprints for multiple teams and running scrum meetings. This role is pivotal in increasing team efficiency, motivating team members, advocating for changes that will ensure quality and timeliness of product delivery, and in particular, ensuring the DoD (Definition of Done)is achieved. This role needs to be willing to travel domestically and be available to connect with offshore team members.
What you will do:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Schedule and facilitate feature demos
- Schedule facilitate and document sprint retrospectives
- Encourage and implement improvements and/or lessons learnt from retrospectives
- Schedule and participate in sprint planning meetings
- Schedule and facilitate daily stand-ups’
- Manage sprints in Jira (includes creating/starting/stopping sprints)
- Drive adoption of Jira Agile features Monitor sprint status, follow up on ticket statuses
- Produce burndowns across sprints and within sprints
- Monitor progress on sprint action items/documenting and presenting proposals
- Drive and enforce Definition of Acceptance
- Exit criteria, Definition of Ready, and Definition of Done Identifying, capturing, and reporting on metrics (e.g., defect counts/defect priorities over time, capture story point deltas over sprints)
- Participate in Defect Triage meetings
- Facilitate and participate in Refinement sessions, in particular Story Pointing, Definition of Ready

- Have the ability to deal efficiently with escalations and difficult situations/people under pressure
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Work experience required:
- Have 3-5+ years working as a team member in delivery projects or initiatives leveraging Agile delivery practices, ideally with Product company experience.
- Have experience of working within a complex, matrixed/helix model organisation Formal Scrum Master experience would be a bonus
- An Agile certification would be a bonus
MS Office applications proficiency required / desired: 10/10

Pay: Php100,000.00 - Php120,000.00 per month
