Talent & Culture Management Officer
JOB SUMMARY
The Talent and Culture Management Officer is responsible for overseeing and managing key areas of human resources, including Learning and Development, Employee Engagement, Talent Acquisition, Background Investigations, and Performance Management. This role ensures that the organization attracts, develops, engages, and retains top talent, fostering a positive organizational culture that aligns with business objectives.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Learning and Development (L&D)
· Design and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and career development.
· Conduct needs assessments to identify learning opportunities and develop customized training solutions.
· Manage employee development plans, including career pathing and succession planning.
· Oversee external training partnerships and evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives.
· Monitor the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and assessments.
2. Employee Engagement
· Develop and execute employee engagement strategies on a monthly basis to promote a positive work environment in accordance to the company’s vision and mission.
· Conduct regular surveys to measure employee satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
· Facilitate initiatives that enhance employee well-being, motivation, and retention.
· Foster a culture of open communication and recognition.
· Coordinate team-building activities and events to strengthen employee relations.
3. Talent Acquisition
· Lead recruitment efforts to attract high-quality talents for open positions.
· Develop and maintain relationships with external recruiting agencies, job boards, and universities.
· Oversee the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, interviews, offers, and onboarding.
· Ensure that the company’s hiring practices are aligned with legal and diversity standards.
· Collaborate with department heads to assess staffing needs and forecast talent requirements.
4. Background Investigation
· Administer pre-employment background checks for all new hires, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
· Review background check results and provide recommendations based on company standards.
· Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address any issues arising from background investigations.
· Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive information.
5. Performance Management
· Develop and implement a performance management system to evaluate employee performance effectively.
· Provide guidance and support to managers on conducting performance reviews and feedback sessions.
· Facilitate goal-setting processes and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
· Track employee performance data, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
· Assist in handling performance-related issues, including disciplinary actions and performance improvement plans.
6. Process Improvement
· Act as Quality Assurance (QA) Champion contributing to the continuous improvement of HR processes, identifying areas for efficiency and process enhancement including documentation.
· Collaborate with the People and Culture Team to implement best practices in human resources related operations and support the achievement of organizational goals.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field. A Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, PHR) is a plus.
· At least 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources with a focus on Learning and Development, Employee Engagement, Talent Acquisition, Background Investigation, and Performance Management.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
· Strong knowledge of HR practices, laws, and regulations.
· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
· Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Proficiency in HRIS, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
· High level of confidentiality and discretion.
