Job Summary:
This role specializes the art of high-heat stir-frying using a wok. Will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and plating dishes according to established recipes and standards, often within Asian cuisine
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Meticulously prepare ingredients, including chopping vegetables, portioning meats, and ensuring everything is ready for quick cooking
- Skillfully cook dishes using a wok, employing various techniques like stir-frying, deep-frying, and steaming, while maintaining consistent heat and timing
- Create and adjust sauces to complement the dishes, ensuring a balance of flavors
- Arrange the cooked food attractively on plates, paying attention to presentation standards
- Maintaining hygiene standards in their area
