The HR Specialist - Employee Relations is responsible for fostering a positive work environment by managing employee relations issues, promoting open communication, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies. This role serves as the point of contact for conflict resolution. employee concerns, and disciplinary actions.
Key Responsibilities:1. Employee Relations Management
- Serve as the first point of contact for employees regarding concerns, complaints, or grievances.
- Investigate and resolve workplace issues in a fair and timely manner.
- Document and maintain records of all employee relation cases.
2. Compliance and Policy Implementation
- Ensure consistent application of company policies and procedures.
- Advise managers and supervisors on disciplinary actions and labor law compliance.
- Assist in the review and update of HR policies and Code of Conduct.
3. Disciplinary and Grievance Handling
- Coordinate issuance of notices (Notice to Explain, Notice of Decision, etc.).
- Conduct disciplinary hearings and follow due process.
- Monitor the implementation of disciplinary actions.
4. Engagement and Communication
- Support initiatives that promote positive employee engagement and culture.
- Assist in conducting exit interviews and employee satisfaction surveys.
- Collaborate with other HR staff for wellness, recognition, and conflict-prevention programs.
5. Reporting and Documentation
- Maintain accurate logs of employee relations issues, investigations, and resolutions.
- Prepare monthly reports and analysis of ER trends and recommend solutions.
