Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced, creative, and passionate Chef to lead our kitchen team.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience with the Japanese menu, leadership experience, and a commitment to quality and consistency in every dish.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and supervise kitchen staff
- Develop and update menus with seasonal and locally sourced ingredients
- Maintain high standards for food preparation and presentation
- Manage food costs, inventory, and waste control
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Train and mentor kitchen team members
- Collaborate with management on events, specials, and new offerings
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Chef, preferably with experience with the Japanese menu
- Strong leadership, organizational, and time-management skills
- Creative and passionate about food trends and culinary innovation
- Excellent communication and team-building abilities
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
