Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Customs Administration, Logistics, or related field.
· Knowledgeable in Philippine customs laws, tariff codes, and import/export procedures.
· At least 1 year of experience in customs-related work or freight forwarding.
· Familiar with lodgment systems (e.g., E2M) and manifest processing.
· Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file customs lodgments for inbound and outbound shipments under government regulations.
- Compute duties, taxes, and other charges based on accurate tariff classification and valuation.
- Review and verify shipment documents such as commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.
- Manage and process cargo manifests and ensure submission to customs portals or relevant authorities.
- Coordinate with customs brokers, government agencies, and internal departments to ensure timely clearance and release of shipments.
- Assist in securing import/export permits, certifications, and other regulatory documents as needed.
- Monitor shipment status and provide timely updates to concerned teams.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
- Support the Customs team with other clerical and administrative tasks as required
