Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound calls related to inquiries from clients and logistic companies.
- Accurately index and manage documents that come into the Transportation mailbox.
- Perform data entry tasks for ACI/ACE manifest requests from carriers.
- Key in accurate carrier and shipment details (trip number, driver info, trailer and truck number, port of entry).
- Describe the correct description of the commodity, weight, and quantity.
- Send a copy of the manifest to the carrier and notify the client.
- Follow-up with the broker for the status of their clearance and secure transaction number and entry number.
Work Schedule
Successful candidates must be available for a Graveyard shift schedule, which includes nights and weekends.
Ideal Candidate
- Holds at least a vocational diploma, short course certificate, or bachelor’s degree in any field.
- 3 years working in the call center, specifically doing data entry is preferred.
- Demonstrates exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to function in a team environment, providing support and assistance at various levels.
- Exhibits strong research, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Has experience working in a fast-paced operating environment.
