Position OverviewWe are seeking an Executive Assistant - Technical VA who can support both administrative tasks and light technical work. This role is designed for someone who is comfortable with workflow automation, basic scripting, and productivity tools. The client runs a few startup projects and is looking for a VA who can “get stuck in,” experiment with backend connections, and help streamline operations. This role is not focused on managing personal calendars or emails but may occasionally involve coordinating meetings.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage records and handle low-level admin tasks
- Support with workflow automation using tools such as N8N, Zapier, or Make.com
- Write simple scripts or troubleshoot system connections (basic programming level)
- Leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to improve productivity
- Occasionally assist in scheduling or meeting coordination
Qualifications
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Knowledgeable in automation tools (Zapier, N8N, Make.com, etc.) - you've actually built or maintained workflows before
- Basic programming or scripting capability (not afraid to look at the "backend" of things and experiment, no specific language required)
- Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive with a problem-solving mindset
- “Get-stuck-in” attitude - willing to figure things out independently
- Prior experience supporting startup founders or fast-paced environments is a plus
