Responsibilities:
- Record Keeping:Accurately maintaining employee timesheets, attendance records, and time-off requests (vacation, sick leave, etc.).
- Payroll Processing:Calculating and processing employee pay, including base pay, overtime, and other adjustments, ensuring timely and accurate payroll.
- Compliance:Ensuring compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations related to timekeeping and payroll.
- Time Tracking Systems:Utilizing and managing timekeeping systems, potentially including both manual and automated processes.
- Report Generation:Preparing reports on attendance, time usage, and other relevant data for management review.
- Communication:Addressing employee inquiries regarding timekeeping, payroll, and benefits.
- Data Management:Maintaining and updating employee records in HR systems related to timekeeping and payroll.
- General HR Support:Assisting with other HR functions as needed, such as onboarding new employees or providing HR policy guidance.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Attention to Detail: Accuracy and meticulousness in recording and processing information.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain organized records.
- Communication Skills: Effectively communicating with employees and management.
- Computer Proficiency: Familiarity with timekeeping systems, payroll software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of Labor Laws: Understanding of relevant labor laws and regulations related to timekeeping and payroll.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies or issues related to timekeeping and payroll.
