- Manage lawyers’ calendar, schedule appointments, meetings and court appearances;
-Maintain both physical and electronic filing systems for case-related documents;
- Draft and prepare status reports, transmittals and communications for clients.
- Prepare standard legal documents, such as pleadings, contracts, motions, subpoenas and any other legal documents;
- Monitor and manage filing deadlines, court dates and other time-sensitive tasks;
- Communicate with court personnel/s to confirm court dates and schedules
- Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documentation are up to date and easily accessible for lawyers;
- Compile, proofread and fix format of any and all legal documents
- File legal documents with the court, either in person or electronically;
- Attend hearings, trials or depositions to take notes or assist lawyers in preparing for court;
- Transact with relevant government agencies and/or offices such as but not limited to SEC, BIR, respective LGUs, DTI, etc.; and
- Perform any other related tasks as assigned by the Partners, and Associates.
-Provide general administrative assistance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Candidate must be a college graduate.
- Experience in legal research and drafting legal documents is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills — both written and verbal.
- Provicient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.
