Schedule: 3 days per week (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays are preferred). Hours are 8 am-4 pm PST (25 hours/week)
Job Type: Entry-Level, Part-Time Position (with the potential for Full-Time in the future)
Salary: $5 - $6 USD per hour
About the Role
We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Assistant to join our team! This is a hands-on, remote role, perfect for someone passionate about social media trends, digital content, and analytics. The Social Media Assistant will report to the Social Media Manager and work on new social projects, content ideation, filming, analytics, reporting, and miscellaneous tasks when necessary.

Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation & Filming- Assist the Producer with filming of organic content and advertisement videos for multiple brands. Being comfortable on camera is a bonus!
- Post Publishing & Engagement- Natively post organic content (photos, videos, stories, and carousels) weekly across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn while engaging on all platforms by responding to comments and DMs, liking relevant posts in the brand’s niche, and initiating interactions with potential leads.
- Analytics & Reporting- Pull weekly performance data for each brand on Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn and log performance insights into a shared Google Sheet for weekly analytics review meetings.
- Social Management Assistance- assisting the Social Media Manager with new projects and miscellaneous tasks when necessary.
Preferred Familiarity with Software and Tools
- Project Management Software (e.g., Notion, Trello, Monday, ClickUp)
- Communication tools (e.g., Slack, Google Chat)
- Google Workspace (e.g., Meet, Docs, Sheets)
- Design Software (e.g., Canva, Adobe)- Having an eye for design is a bonus!
- Social Moderation Tools (e.g., NapoleonCat, Sprout Social)
