JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Social Media Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing social media strategies to enhance brand awareness, engagement, and audience growth across various digital platforms. This role oversees content creation, community management, analytics, and campaign execution to ensure a strong and consistent online presence. The Social Media Manager is a strategic thinker with a creative mindset, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of social media trends and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Strategy & Management
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with business and marketing goals.
- Manage and oversee all social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube.
- Plan and schedule content using social media management tools to ensure consistent posting and engagement.
Content Creation & Curation
- Collaborate with creative teams to produce high-quality and engaging content (graphics, videos, reels, stories, and copy).
- Write compelling captions, hashtags, and call-to-actions that align with the brand voice.
- Stay updated on industry trends and social media best practices to ensure content remains relevant and innovative.
Community Engagement & Customer Interaction
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and brand-appropriate manner.
- Foster an active online community by engaging with followers, influencers, and relevant brands.
- Identify and manage potential social media crises, addressing negative feedback professionally.
Performance Analysis & Reporting
- Track key performance metrics (engagement, reach, follower growth, conversions) and generate reports.
- Use insights and data analytics to refine strategies and improve campaign effectiveness.
- Conduct competitive analysis to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
Advertising & Campaign Execution
- Plan and manage paid social media campaigns, optimizing performance for reach, engagement, and conversions.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with broader promotional campaigns.
- Test and implement new social media trends and features to maximize brand impact.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, design, video, and branding, to align messaging and goals.
- Partner with influencers, brand ambassadors, and external agencies for campaign collaborations.
- Ensure consistency in brand messaging across all digital touchpoints.
