The position is responsible for providing assistance to the Underwriting Manager/Supervisor in the areas of policy issuance, compliance to Know Your Customer Policy and keeping tabs of all renewals.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Timely and accurate preparation of policy, endorsements, cover notes and other related documents.
2. Ability to identify, file and accept insurance risks
3. Subject to the approval of the underwriting manager, the assistant must be able to implement applicable rates on the insurance risks being accepted
4. Will perform administrative task in the issuance of policies
5. Prepares letters and correspondence
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/ College degree in Economics, Finance/ Accountancy/ Banking, Business Studies/ Administration/ Management, Commerce or equivalent.
2. Can communicate well both oral and written
3. Is keen to details
4. Have good disposition and can work well under minimum supervision
5. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, esp in Excel spreadsheet
6. Must possess the ability to prioritize tasks according to importance and urgency
7. Experienced in the field of Insurance Services or equivalent is an advantage
8. Fresh graduates/ Entry level is encourage to apply
9. Applicant must be willing to work in BACOLOD CITY.
