As the Retail Training Assistant Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and delivery of training programs to elevate frontline excellence and drive commercial performance across Central and Eastern Visayas retail stores. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure retail teams are equipped with the skills, product knowledge, and service mindset needed to deliver exceptional brand experiences.
Job Description
- Assist in the execution and delivery of retail training programs (classroom, digital, and on-the-floor coaching) aligned with brand standards and business objectives.
- Deliver engaging, interactive product and service training sessions to frontline retail teams, focusing on new launches, hero products, customer experience, and selling techniques.
- Coach and support store teams on the ground to drive service excellence, elevate customer experience, and improve sales productivity.
- Gather feedback and insights from the field to identify training gaps, prioritize learning needs, and co-develop tailored learning plans.
- Facilitate onboarding programs for new hires to ensure consistent brand knowledge, service standards, and operational readiness from day one.
- Monitor training effectiveness through field visits, KPIs, assessments, and feedback loops. Provide reports and insights to the Training Manager for continuous improvement.
- Partner closely with Retail Operations, HR, and in-store teams to ensure alignment on training initiatives and brand storytelling at the point of sale.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in retail training, learning & development, or hardware retail operations.
- Passion for coaching, and empowering others through learning.
- Strong facilitation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Hands-on experience with retail sales and customer service environments.
- Self-starter with excellent organization and project management skills.
- Flexible to travel regionally for training rollouts and in-store coaching.
